The Yamaha EXO8 is an Output Expander compatible for the MTX/MRX Series. It connects to the system via YDIF and features 8ch of DA converters that convert the digital output to high quality analog signal.
The EXO8 can be controlled via an external device through a NETWORK connector. Up to eight remote controller devices can connect simultaneously. As remote control of EXO8 is performed via the NETWORK connector only, there is no requirement to configure the port using MTX-MRX Editor for remote control. When EXO8 is connected and controlled from MTX3, MTX5-D or MRX7-D, up to seven remote controller devices can be used for these devices.
